A structured way for your teen to work through what's weighing on them
Virtual EMDR is a self-guided program built on EMDR, a therapy used to help people process stress, anxiety, and difficult experiences. Each session walks your teen through a simple set of questions and a guided visual exercise, at their own pace, on their own device.
What a session actually looks like
Your teen answers a short series of questions, then follows a moving visual pattern on screen for the guided portion of the session. There's no limit on how many sessions they can do, though we recommend starting with about three sessions over the course of a week.
Your part is simpler than you'd think
Getting started is the biggest thing you do: sign them up, sit them down at the computer, and let them work through it on their own. The program takes it from there. No need to sit in or supervise the session itself — your role is getting them started, not guiding the process.
